ART EXHIBIT OCTOBER 10 – 12 2008
The Zucco Fine Art Gallery is proud to host their first art exhibit with a special lifetime collection of paintings by artist Kitty Zucco. Born and raised in Fairfield County Connecticut Kitty’s paintings reflect a genuine understanding and admiration of Connecticut’s coastline and landscape. As a lifelong avid gardener Kitty’s color palate is vibrant and true to the colors of nature. The diversity of her paintings is unique because she is not limited to a specific genre – she explores seascapes landscapes still life and portraits of nature with great ease. Kitty’s insightful use of color combined with her respect for texture balance and design makes her unique hand and classic style of painting in this showcase a testament to life as a New England resident. In addition to works of art by Kitty a small selection of works by her daughter Jennifer Ann Zucco and Uncle Weston Morley Geety will be presented. There will be over 80 paintings and prints presented at this showing. This art exhibit is to be held from October 10 – 12 2008 at the Silvermine Golf Club located at 95 North Seir Hill Road Norwalk Connecticut 06897. An opening artist’s reception will be held at Silvermine Golf Club on Friday October 10th from 5 – 8 in the evening. The exhibit will open to the public on Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 5. A driving force behind this art exhibit is to honor Kitty’s daughter Jennifer Ann Zucco by raising funds for a scholarship established in her name at the high school where Jennifer’s love of art was nurtured and encouraged to flourish. A donation from the proceeds of this exhibit will be made to the Jennifer Ann Zucco Scholarship Fund at New Canaan High School located in New Canaan Connecticut.
